This is a great toy, lots of pieces for putting together. I was looking for a lego set with alot of pieces, to add to another lego set we already have. I like that it includes a good variety too, a lego car, a person, windows, flowers, fences, etc. The price was good on amazon, which is why I purchased it from Amazon, at about $22 and free shipping. I had looked around first. I also like the sample designs they have on the box so you can learn to build from those photos. It was an excellent purchase. Would buy it again. Legos are great since they teach children to use their brains and figure things out. This is my favorite size legos too. The smaller legos are too tiny and can easily get lost and the large legos are more for babies or very young toddlers, and are quite big. These medium size legos are good for most ages, I would say they are also good for well over age 5, which is written on the box. I have nieces that are age 7 and 10, and they still play with this size and enjoy them. I purchased them for my four year old.

This is a really good set of Legos for the money. The only problem is that it doesn't come in a fancy bucket, it's just a cardboard box. But it has many pieces that make it a perfect starter kit. My daughter loves the flowers, and it's great that it has one little girl figure and one piece with weels. You can make houses, fences, trucks, a tree... great value for $20.
Duplos are great for girls & boys

I bought this for my 3 year old niece. (My brother said they already had some and they liked building together, but didn't have enough pieces.)

Upon opening the gift, she immediately started building and really enjoyed having windows in this set.

It was a great hit!

Good basic Lego material but rather limited in what else it can be used for due to the specific nature of some of the pieces

I bought this for my almost 2 year old grandson. He still isn't able to play completely unassisted with these but his 4 year old brother helps him as do we and he enjoys building 'towers' and knocking them down. Duplos are favorite toys and have been in our family for years and now our littlest one is enjoying a toy that works for his size hands and skill level.
