BEST CW SET YET!

This is absolutely great! So many hidden features and moving parts for the size! I don't own it (yet) but I've seen it in person and I know that this is a must have. Mabey three clones would have been good but who cares, there will be $10 clone packs with four clones each next year. Again, this is a very sturdy set and I highly recommend it as an army builder.

Great set - available from lego.com for 49.99 - I'm a big fan of amazon, but sometimes you can get a better price somewhere else! Get the set directly from Lego, and you'll save enough to purchase another favorite set! Happy hunting!

My son's review:
I just want to say this set is awesome! I will give you the pros and cons:
PROS: The set has 592 pieces and took me about an hour-and-a-half to build. I just turned 9.
This set has a really cool design. It's got 6 hidden flick-fire missiles on the wings. It has real skinny wheels on the bottom to make good hover action. The engine location in front of the cockpit is great and the cover is awesome, although the engine is not too detailed. The side guns are very well detailed and seem powerful. There is one gun compartment on each wing. To get the turret guy up you open the back hatch and he will pop up out of the turret. There is room in the cockpit for another guy so I put in a gunner. The top comes up to put a guy in. The set is very well detailed.
CONS: First of all, the engine isn't very detailed. Second, the antennas fall off easily. The turret guns are very fragile and the big side guns will come off easily also.
But overall, even though it doesn't have too many minifigs, this is a very good set.
PS: The cockpit windows look like sinister eyes and the engine cover looks like a snout - very cool!

The sickest tank ever!!!!

I bought this set because I wanted the figures and tank for my clone army. This set comes with one clone commander figure that has a normal printed head, torso, and helmet. The only thing different about the clone commander is he is equipped with gray commander gear and pistols. This set also comes with one normal clone trooper figure that has a normal printed head, torso, and helmet. He is equipped with a short blaster. The tank itself is a very complex build (it took me more then an hour to assemble) and when finished it looks very big and it has a lot of features. The tank has two storage compartments (one on each side of the tank) for the clone's gear and weapons. The tank also has two flip-out flick-missile launchers (one on each side of the tank) that are equipped with three flick-missiles each. The tank is equipped with two primary blaster cannons (one on each side of the tank) that can swivel up and down. The tank is also equipped with an anti-infantry turret that can swivel up and down, and side to side. The turret has a gunner seat that can pop up into position by opening the back hatch. The tank has a cockpit that has a seat for the driver with controls. The tank also has hidden wheels giving it the hovering look. The tank also has a hood that opens to reveal a small engine. Well, here are the basics of the set:
The good things
Clone commander
Clone trooper
Short blaster (also comes with one extra)
Commander gear
Commander pistols
Tank
Storage compartments
Flip-out flick-missile launchers
Primary blaster cannons
Anti-infantry turret
Pop up gunner seat
Hidden wheels
Opening hood
Engine
Two printed republic symbol pieces
Two printed control panel pieces
The bad things
Stickers
Should have come with a specific commander (such as Gree, Cody, or Bly)
Over all, I highly recommend this set.

Christmas hit

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 7 y/o grandson. He loved it and it kept him entertained for 2 days while he put it together all by himself. He then played with it the remainder of his visit with me and I am sure continues to do so. It stayed together amazingly well during his play activities, occasionally a small piece would fall off and require redoing and the radio antennas fell off constantly but he didn't seem to mind. It was a hit and I was so happy he enjoyed it.
